Articles about Fixed-Noise:

Fixed Noise has announced the release of Kreate, a new sound library designed and produced by techno, dance, minimal artist Speedy J, aka Jochem Paap.
Description:
This personal collection of Speedy J’s sounds includes the dance and minimal electronic rhythms for which he is notorious as well as fluid pads that offer an atmospheric sensibility. The library is composed of drum kits, individual hits/tones, loops, sequencer-based instruments, fx and konstrukt instruments. The library is made up of over 500 instruments mapped out in Native Instruments’ Kontakt Player 2. The Kontakt Player allows the user to create with the powerful and popular Kontakt interface without necessarily owning the full version.
“My intention was to design a collection of sounds that is fun to play with and inspires the creation of music. The goal is to provide a broad set of carefully sculpted distinctive elements which can be used in many ways,” says Jochem Paap. “In my own productions I always try to use sounds in unexpected ways by pushing the limits of my tools. Kreate is designed to provide an organized and easily accessible collection of tools which will inspire users to take the same approach but make it less of a hassle.”
Kreate will be released in late July, 2008, and will retail for $199. Read more…
Fixed Noise has announced the development of legendary producer Teddy Riley’s exclusive sound library.
Teddy Riley, who is as influential as the artists he works with (Michael Jackson, Blackstreet, Dr. Dre, the Neptunes, Jay-Z, Guy, Foxy Brown and many others), will be compiling his extensive collection of sounds into an audio encyclopedia of R&B and hip-hop production. Riley’s library will give access to his legendary sounds and a look at where he plans to take the future of pop music.
Like other Fixed Noise libraries, it will utilize the Kontakt 2 Player from Native Instruments. The library will be released in the third quarter of 2007.
Fixed Noise is introduced its debut software release, OTTO.
OTTO is a sound library designed by Miami musician / producer Otto Von Schirach, right. OTTO offers over 4 GB of instruments, and is one of the first libraries to utilize Native Instruments’ new Kontakt 2 Player.
OTTO caters to musicians and producers in the IDM, industrial, and electronica genres. OTTO provides over 600 instruments that include construction, loops, sequences, and surround. Von Schirach created the library as the single answer for music makers who require maximum efficiency (loops and sequences), and maximum flexibility (construction and surround).
OTTO will be distributed by GSF Agency and will be available at musical products retailers as well as record stores and nontraditional audio software dealers. OTTO has a MSRP of $199.99 and ships on September 15th.
Otto Von Schirach recently released “Maxipad Detention” on Ipecac Recordings. He is currently working on collaborations with Skinny Puppy, Venetian Snares, Doormouse, Gut, and Ebola.
