His band features a young Steve Porcaro {keyboards for TOTO, Herb Alpert, Pablo Cruise, Brothers Johnson, etc.} on synthesizers along with a rockin’ lady cowbell player, dual keytars and some synth bass.
Wright’s best known for his synth-heavy track Dream Weaver.

Dream Weaver Promo
A few months before the release of Gary Wright’s Dream Weaver, the artist visited with his childhood friend, Gil Markle, in his recording studio in the countryside of Massachusetts. He brought his synthesizers with him, which were hooked up to a 16-track tape machine.
A 45-second promotional spot for an album still in Wright’s mind’s eye was recorded. Thirty years later, Markle scripted some video to it.
