Hans-Jörg Scheffler
Articles about Hans-Jörg Scheffler:
This video, by Hans-Jörg Scheffler, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the SETI@home project:
It features my dear friend and incredibly talented musician Tatsuya Nishiwaki on chromatic harmonica. The images in the clip are a wild mixture of imaginary alien broadcasts and stuff that we humans transmit.
SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI).
Nanospheres
Hans-Jörg Scheffler’s Nanospheres features Spectrasonics Omnisphere for all the sounds including the percussion, and fractal imagery via Artmatic.
This is another nice soundscape by Hans-Jörg Scheffler, featuring Spectrasonics OmniSphere;
One thing that I really like about using Omnisphere for soundtrack work is the fact that many sounds are based on organic sources. They can be so inspiring that they trigger visual ideas.
Like in the case of this clip i was playing around with sounds that were made of water running thru tubes of different length to create discrete pitches.
I composed the music and then created the clip based on it.
The raw footage was created in Artmatic Voyager and then further modified in Artmatic V-Track.
