DJDeedle’s latest Deedlecast is a 007 James Bond electronica megamix.

And like the James Bond movies, it’s sexy, it’s silly, and it’s swanky – thanks to the classic brassy scores of John Barry.

Every Friday, DJDeedle posts a 30 to 40 minute show, called a “Deedlecast,” featuring mashup, chillout, downtempo, or dance mixes and remixes of every conceivable kind.

This week, DJDeedle takes some of the iconic Bond themes and sounds as his fixed point and moves the musical world rapidly around them. And because going to the movies just isn’t the same without it, if you listen carefully, DJDeedle’s even thrown in the popcorn.

With The Quantum Of Solace coming out this weekend, it’s a good time to take a look back at the electronica side of James Bond music.

A lot of people hated Madonna’s AutoTune’d theme for Die Another Day, but it’s the most electronic Bond theme ever.
