Korg MS-20 Mini Q&A
Korg successfully whipped many Synthtopia readers into a synth-buying frenzy with their introduction of the MS-20 Mini – a modern recreation of their analog synth classic. Since then, analog synth fans have been leaving comments like “Korg – take my money”.
We’ve featured a mega Mini overview from Marc Doty and a MS-20 Mini review from Sonic State’s Nick Batt.
If you want to know even more, though, here’s a live Q&A, via sonicstate, that offers even more info on the new synth.

The Korg MS-20 Mini Mega Video Overview
Synth educator and Moog Foundation Archivist Marc Doty has wrapped up a massive 12-part video overview of the new Korg MS-20 Mini, embedded above.
Doty’s series covers the MS-20 Mini’s oscillators, filters, envelope generators, amplifiers, sample & hold, external signal processor, patch examples and more.
Doty came away impressed with the new synth. “Playing this thing is like playing the original,” he says.
The MS-20 Mini is expected to ship this month, with a street price of $600.
