I visited the mysterious creative boys of Ohm Force in Paris yesterday. They make really amazing plug ins!!

Ohmv Force has released a free plugin for the masses, Cohmpost:

You just NEED some Cohmpost in your music.

Get it in AU for Mac, VST for Mac or VST for Windows.

For your information, no kittens were harmed while creating the Cohmpost (just a bit ruffled, promise). Lawyer warning : Please do not use Ohm Force Cohmpost Mac version unless you totally agree with the license agreement.

Who knows what it’s doing, but you can safely expect to hear the sounds of kittens being harmed.

Wire to the Ear’s Oliver Chesler put together a nice screencast that shows the features of Ohm Force’s OhmBoyz plug in:

I really think OhmBoyz is the best delay I own. After watching the video I encourage you to head over to the Ohm Force website and download the demo.

This screencast covers: Installation, Presets, Multiple Knob Control, LFO, Automation and Sustained Loop.

He hits testing this out in live at about 1 minute in.

Ohm Force have updated Ohmicide : Melohman to version 1.02 both for PC and Mac (AU, VST, RTAS).

Changes in v1.02

• Added the possibility to deselect the active parameter by clicking in the background.
• Spectrum display correction and improvement.
• Added an animation on metapatch load.
• Redesigned selection of the Disto Alt. and Gate knobs.
• Added a short morph when switching preset via the GUI.
• The Melohman textbox now display something on startup.
• Some crash possibilities in case of host misconduct removed.
• Bug correction : the odd family distortion gain was slowly increasing or decreasing over time depending on the bias setting.
• Wet/dry levels can now correctly be set via the key- board.
