productimage-picture-autobahn-414We like the synth t-shirts as much as anybody, but this Autobahn Nagelbett t-shirt has gone straight to the top of the list.

Autobahn is the fictitional techno-pop band, Kraftwerk parody, from The Big Lebowski.

Some Big Lebowski Autobahn trivia for you:

  • The Autobahn album cover is stylistically similar to the cover of the Kraftwerk classic, Man-Machine.
  • The title of their album, Nagelbett, is German for “nail bed.”
  • Song titles on the Autobahn LP Nagelbett include: Saturation, Faking It, Hit and Run, No Way Out, Violate U-Blue, Beg me, Take It In and the classic Edelweiss (Club mix).
  • They are nihilists…..nothing to be afraid of.

bob_shirt_detailMoog Music has introduced an awesome psychedelic black-light reactive t-shirt in honor of what would be Bob Moog’s 75th birthday:

This limited run t-shirt is only available for purchase in the month of May, 2009. All profits go directly to The Bob Moog Foundation to support construction of the Moogseum.

What’s not to like?

  • It’s psychedelic.
  • It’s a synth shirt.
  • It’s Bob Moog.
  • It’s black light.
  • It’s for a non-profit cause!

$25 at the Moog Music site.

fairlight-t-shirtHere’s something for all the Fairlight Computer Music Instrument owners out there – Fairlight T-Shirts!

I had been looking for a t-shirt with the old (Series I/II(x) era) Fairlight logo for a while, but couldn’t find any. I found shirts with Roland, PPG, etc. logos, but no Fairlight. So, I made my own.

OK – you’ve probably never played a Fairlight CMI, let alone owned one, since they listed for £18,000 when they were introduced. The t-shirts are still pretty cool, though.
