IK Multimedia has introduced VocaLive – a vocal effects processor for the iPad.
VocaLive offers a suite of 12 real-time vocal effects along with an audio recorder. The effects can be combined into a chain of 4 processors and saved as presets. A collection of up to 50 presets is included.
Unfortunately, the official demo video spends more time talking about VocaLive than demonstrating it. If you’ve used VocaLive and have audio or video demos to share, leave a link or just let us know what you think of it!
IK Multimedia introduced iRig Mic, a condenser hand-held microphone designed for iOS devices and VocaLive, a vocal effects app, at the 2011 NAMM Show.
C.J. Pierce of Drowning Pool and IK Multimedia’s Starr Ackerman show you what you can do with IK’s 2 new releases iRig and VocaLive and then proceed to simulate a bad drug tip with VocaLive’s voice effects.
VocaLive will have a suite of 5 dedicated real-time vocal effects (pitch correction, choir harmonizer, voice doubler, vocal morpher and de-esser) plus 7 effects tailored to vocal processing (reverb, EQ, compressor, delay, envelope filter, chorus, phazer) that can be combined on a 3-processor vocal rig chain.
