HG Sounds has introduced Black Magic Loop Generator VSTi for Windows, a “loop workstation with the ability to generate diverse loops with a single mouse click”.
It’s scheduled for release on the 24th of April for £130. You can download a set of demo loops here (.rar).
Black Magic Loop Generator looks like it could be a cool new VSTi, but we could do without the awesomely droolworthy fake 3D rendering.
Demo video and details below. Check it out and leave a comment with your thoughts! Read more…

- DC offset blocker to remove unwanted DC offset distortion that can occur when loading some waveforms
- Extended Vista x64 support including the ability for both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Rapture to be installed on the Windows Vista x64 operating system ensuring access within 32-bit DAWs that may be running on the 64-bit OS

- Knobs Focus Indicator to help the user identify which knob is currently in focus

Audio Damage has released BigSeq2, the new version of its effect and gate sequencer.
Description:
With twelve sequencers controlling ten effects in six blocks, BigSeq2 is capable of everything from short staccato gate sequences to long, evolving filter sweeps and frequency shifts.
The six effect “Blocks” contain ten effects in total, and these Blocks can be re-arranged by dragging them, giving you full control over the routing of the effects.
Each effect Block has a gate sequencer and a modulation sequencer. The gate sequencer turns that effect on and off (or in the case of the delay Block, activates the “send” control), while the modulation sequencer can affect any and all parameters in that block.
