Younnat
Articles about Younnat:

Remember the Ukrainian electroacoustic guru Younnat – the guy behind the very cool mechanical sampler interface, the Socket Sampler?
Younnat, aka Oleg Serdyuk, uses a variety of strange musical instruments and makes some pretty interesting music, too.
Some of the other unusual controllers which Serdyuk uses in live performances are:
- Genius Speed Wheel 3MT
- Logitech Joystick Attack 3
- Logitech Gamepad Dual Action
- Genius KB-06X
- Bulb kit
He’s shared his debut EP, The Duct, at the Internet Archive. Preview the release below:

Very Cool Socket Sampler
Ukrainian electroacoustic guru Younnat has come up with an interesting mechanical sampler interface, the Socket Sampler.
Younnat is a side project of Oleg Serdyuk, keyboardist of the easy listening & funky band Lyuk (Ukraine). His electronic music is different from his work with Lyuk – more eclectic and experimental.
Oleg began releasing material as Younnat in March 2007, with the 23 minute and 09 second single “The Duct” on Bump Foot Japanese netlabel. Later, “The Duct” was re-released on Planear Records (Argentine netlabel). Oleg has just finished work on a new album, “Ryba”.
