Tone-Tools has introduced the Fat Cat 2x12 and 2x12T guitar speaker cabinets, ready to be fitted with two 12" guitar speakers.
The Fat Cat 2x12 speaker cabinet is a detuned, front ported, closed back design, and constructed with 3/4" void-free Birch plywood throughout, including the back and baffle, with finger jointed corners. Pine is used for internal bracing.
Similarly constructed, the Fat Cat 2x12T is a larger version for increased bass response, and is also intended for higher power speakers (and louder players). This version was created with metal and detuned guitars in mind.
Both models come with a black leatherette covering, chrome corner protectors, rubber feet and leather handle. The type of grill cloth can be selected when ordering. The coverings can be customized if desired as well.
