Anybody ever try to run MIDI signals more than 50ft?

If you are in need of running midi connections beyond 50 ft, standard cables are not recomended due to the limitation in the midi spec. After 50ft there could be data loss and signals can become corrupt.
Check out the Midi-1001 at http://www.midiextender.com. It will extend Midi signals up to 1000ft or more!!
