  1. For a great chromatic instrument tuner, try PitchMaster! Well worth the $0.99, less than the cost of a replacement battery for your existing tuner.

  2. of course Apples top 20 lists are useless.. i really wish they would separate the music apps into sections, its really annoying to search through all the internet radio and stupid band apps to find actually music tools….
i second the vote for Bebot.. good sound and unique controls!
i also like Aura (ambient drones and leads), of course Eno's apps Bloom, Troupe and Air are very nice, though somewhat limited.
Star Melody is also nice, somewhat similar to Bloom but with lots more control.
Mujik is also a lot of fun, though its more for just playing around than actually creating something new
Sound Warp is a very cool sound manipulation tool, though ive only just begun playing around with it..

  6. hey guys, im extremely new at this..im actually looking forward to creating beats that are alike to Dubstep..overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals…..basically im looking for an app that i can play with all the time for fresh ideas..maybe something like noise.io. but catered more for dubstep beats….any ideas?
