Twitter Goddess Zoe Keating Blows People’s Minds, With A Cello, On A Bus

Avant cellist Zoe Keating has something like 5 billion followers on Twitter.

Maybe it’s because she puts a baberific face on avant garde music.

Maybe it’s because she got a choice spot on the Twitter Suggested User List.

Or maybe it’s because she’s game for blowing the minds of a bus full of people – with a cello.

Keating uses live sampling/looping, as shown here, to create layered performances of up to 16 parts.

  1. Pop quiz, hotshot. There's a bomb on a bus. Once the bus goes 50 miles an hour, the bomb is armed. If it drops below 50, it blows up. What do you do? What do you do?

    Cello?
