My problem with this video is that mael's knob-tweaking is sort of a distraction, rather than feeling like part of the performance.
What the hell is this? Has neither the words to Ave Maria or Bach's Prelude. Just call it something else, man… This is the kind of crap that happens when you search for a particular song title and it returns this train wreck.

I was being sarcastic. Gounod's Ave Maria (with Bach's First Prelude from a Well-Tempered Clavier) is probably the most well known version. And the Latin Hail Mary, "Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus. Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Ámen." -is not here.
Does anybody know which version Mael is tearing up? Or is it his own version? The singer spends a good 2 minutes singing "Ave, Ave, Ave, Ave, Ave Maria…"
