  1. i've just downloaded this and had a test of it, it's more flexible than you think, why not just download it and give it a try before making a wide blanket statement on a product you've never tried?

  2. I'm not going to bother picking this up for 2 main reasons.. First of all I consider the sounds not to be really special. They're nice, don't get me wrong, but simply not special. What I hear is something I can easily patch up together with Operator, then adding a few effects to it and I'm all done.

But what really stops me from even trying out this synth is its interface. At first I thought that I was looking at a movie-like picture and only focused on the sounds. Then I suddenly realized that it was actually the interface!

Moving slider-like pictures and hoping that it does what I intended? I don't think so, this has got to be the most unusable interface ever IMO.

Ok, having said that I clicked on the link and noticed the vst has 2 interface modi. Doesn't change my opinion on this interface, so I'm leaving it right in place 🙂

Having listened to the other movie as well I still think that although it sounds nice it also seems limited. At first you'll have fun, but in the longer run I think you'll notice lots of the same going over and over again. At least that's my impression after checking out that other video as well.

  4. i agree with you about the interface, but i think this sounds great i can work around interface issues easily with midi messages. and please, it's free, why bother being overly critical of a genuinely free item.
