  1. This movie gives good ideas for people new to it all yet he's making one slight mistake along the way when setting up follow actions.

    To setup a follow action you need to do more than merely setting the action itself. By default Live will initiate the action after 1 bar and not after finishing the clip. If your clip is only 1 bar in length then sure, but longer clips will get cut off.

    Note the numbers (1 0 0) above the menu where he sets the follow action; that is where you define when an action should take place within the clip. One bar by default but you can obviously change this yourself.
