New App Recreates Classic Simmons SDS-V Synth Drums (Sneak Preview)

This is a sneak preview of a virtual recreation of the classic Simmon SDS-V synth drums.

via persuadersonic:

A virtual version of Simmons SDSV, for poor guys like me who don’ have the original one.

It’s a preliminary test, some parameters probably don’t behave like they should, but it’s work on progress…

  1. It's not an application (or app as some people like to call it nowadays), it's obviously a Reaktor patch (or ensemble, a collection of different instruments to use the Reaktor lingo).

From the Youtube comments I'm under the impression that the creator is not going to charge anyone money for this once he feels it is done which would be the sensible thing to do as Reaktor users already have paid for Reaktor (and probably, like me, for a lot of other good software which – even when discounted – is not really cheap).

  7. I saw this a few days ago because I've been looking for something like this to come out. However, the video was posted over a year ago, so who knows when it will be finished.
