IK Multimedia has released a new DJ app for iPhone, DJ Rig.
DJ Rig has a selection of 12 DJ effects with XY control, built-in sampling pads, multiple cue points, crossfade curves and X-Sync. X-Sync (available when used with iRig MIX) lets you automatically synchronize the app audio with external audio sources, like a second iOS device, but also regular CD or MP3 players.
DJ Rig is currently $1.99 in the App Store.

this actually looks very good, nice ui that is not cluttered like the other dj apps out there and ive tried them all. as a dj myself i look for accuracy in beat matching, easy of function and of course a clutter free environment. it is great they have brought out a neat looking mixer and ill likely have to check this out for private and public sets.

IK multimedia’s strategy of using cheap apps to sell their hardware is brilliant.
(And have I mentioned how much I like the iRig MIDI because it charges the iPad while you play? Now all I need is a USB version!)
I’m assuming if you have a USB audio interface then you can get separate cue/headphone and house mixes?
