  1. Does this only export to Studio One? Or could we run out Wav/Aif files for use in Ableton, etc. I really like the look of this, but it’s useless if it’s tied to one DAW.

    1. I suspect that it is possible to export recordings to other DAWs, but exporting to Studio One is probably easier. That is how it works between desktop version of Capture 2 and Studio One. You can import Capture 2 recordings on other DAWS, but Studio One opens them without any hassles. But testing does not cost anything. According to PreSonus website a 2-track version of Capture for iPad is free – it is the 32-track version that costs 10 bucks.

  2. The screenshot shows the beats are out of sync with the track segments – with no mention of a bpm, beat snapping or beat detection feature…

  3. I love PRESONUS, but i just bought an ipad and capture 32 track so i could record in my studio and take my work on the go with me to have other musicians play in other towns instead of logging my imac around. HOWEVER, there is NO function for importing a song or mp3 INTO capture, so i can continue on with my recordings. Basically, i have to “record” them in and that is a pain. If presonus could get an import audio file button, that would make it perfect, but until then, i can only give it a 7 out of 10.
