This video, via Cuckoo, captures a sneak preview of the upcoming Teenage Engineering OP-Z synthesizer.

The Teenage Engineering OP-Z will be a mobile synth, designed to do both audio and video synthesis.

In the video, Cuckoo talks with David Mollerstedt, one of the lead developers of the OP-Z, and gets a preview of the latest OP-Z prototype and a status update on the new synth.

  2. I wish they kept the color pallet consistent with the OP-1. That’s the only thing I don’t like about this product.

  3. It is cool TE designed the OP-Z interface to work with LEGO bricks. I’ve been eager to incorporate LEGOs into my setup for a while. Regardless of how the OP-Z sounds the LEGO integration is a big win for brick fanatics everywhere.
