The Space Palette Pro Is A Custom Instrument, Based On The Sensel Morph

This video, via Tim Thompson, is a demo of his custom instrument, the Space Palette Pro.

Thompson has been performing for several years with his custom Space Palette designs. His latest instrument is based on Sensel Morph MIDI controllers.

Here’s what he has to say about the new Space Palette Pro:

5 years after creating the original Space Palette (see http://spacepalette.com), I’ve started working on a new version that makes use of the amazing Sensel Morph pressure-sensitive pads. This video show a first demo of the prototype after finally getting everything hooked up. The touchscreen is used for selecting presets and shows a preview of what would normally be displayed on a larger monitor or projector screen.

  1. Looks like a lot of fun, but its not an instrument unless you can play a melody repeat yourself and repeat mistakes with expression. Im not a huge fan of mis-using the word instrument.
