  1. Why is there so much obsession with death and darkness and evil of halloween ?
Why don’t people celebrate the goodness of life, light and our loving God ???

    1. Sorry if you don’t like Halloween, but it doesn’t seem very Christian to complain about something created and shared freely as a gift to the community.

    2. I think the concept was to scare away the bad things and make scary things not so scary
Plus it seams that everyone is trying to have fun with it
who wouldn’t like all those wonder women out there

    3. Hi Mick. I’m not sure if you’re new to this holiday, but Halloween doesn’t really “celebrate” evil. It may seem like that due to the commercialization of it that capitalizes on the gore and darkness of the holiday as well as the macabre aspect. But, in reality, people aren’t actually going around killing others (more than any other holiday [except Christmas]) or openly performing actual torture of others (again Christmas [the music]). Of course, it’s true that many people embrace the gruesome imagery, but most are simply trying to have a bit of fun.
In addition, kids like to dress-up, frighten others/get scared and eat shed loads of sweets.

In fact, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows’ Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular because, traditionally, it is the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

On topic: I like the dark atmospheres that can be generated with Horror Box. I don’t think it’s very useful for me musically, but it seems really good if one needed to create a haunted house soundtrack. Good job developer!

  2. I already have a horror box. Its called “My Bathroom.” Cool plug-in, BTW. If you have a sampler and a varied library, its pretty easy to roll your own, but this deserves a good fun factor rating.

  3. Love it. Been using it all day to for creating all kinds of stuff. I look at it as just another waveform generator/sonic flavor maker. Thank you BeatMaker.

Been radically splicing and dicing short impacts and hits from this and having a blast. Happy Halloween!
