The Raumzeitmaschine – A True Stereo Tube Reverb

Tegeler Audio Manufaktur has introduced a unique new hardware reverb, The Raumzeitmaschine.

The Raumzeitmaschine (space-time-machine) is a hybrid analog + digital true stereo reverb, with some very unique features, including plug-in automation, vacuum-tubes and servos on the hardware controls.

Here’s an example of a techno track, using two Raumzeitmaschinen for two individual reverbs:

  • True stereo tube reverb
  • Creates a ‘unique reverb space’
  • Tubes – Two double triodes and input and output transformers per channel
  • Predelay, room size, density and decay time adjustable
  • Ethernet
  • Controllable via the front panel, via a browser-based interface or via plug-in (VST, AU, AAX)
  • Servomotor pots
  • Handmade

Pricing and Availability

The Raumzeitmaschine is available for 2.699,00 EUR incl. VAT. Tegeler Audio Manufaktur offers a 14 day test drive in your studio. See their site for details.

  1. I gotta say, I like the sound of that reverb very much. I don’t see myself blowing 2700 Euros on it, but I guess for a handmade tube reverb, that’s not an insane price.

The sound is pretty gorgeous, I gotta say.

  2. Alla I can say is WOW! Love watching the Servomotor pots move and is controllable from a DAW. The video sounds great! When I set up my new mastering lab I will buy. Nice one.

  3. amazing. another dream piece, like Shadow Hills stuff. i love the unique idea, follow through to make it, and it actually sounds gorgeous. bravo!

  4. I’m a sucker for reverbs and this sounds lovely. Would really love to get my hands on one. Will have to start saving up the pennies I suppose!

  5. Waldorf Quantum, sequenced by the Koma Komplex through a Raumzeitmaschine anyone?

I’ll take two sets, for easy recall of course.
