How To Control A Eurorack Modular With A Novation Circuit Mono Station

At the 2018 NAMM Show, we talked with Novation’s Enrique Martinez about how he was using a Circuit Mono Station to control his Eurorack modular synthesizer.

Martinez had a Euro system set up to show how the Circuit Mono Station’s CV connectivity could be used, simultaneously with its audio output.

Novation has information on using the Circuit Mono Station in a variety of setups on its site.

i couldn’t care less due to the simple fact that the circuit has no display. worst design flaw i’ve ever encountered. a hardware sequencer without a screen is crap, period. novation engineers should be ashamed of themselves imo.

… i don´t understand the problem that you have. Friend of mine has the Novation Circut (kind of similar workflow like the Mono Station) and he can work well with the grid as (parameter) display.

    2. I recently bought a Twisted Electrons Crazy 8 and it too has no screen. I thought it was great unitil I saw your post.

Thanks for alerting me to what a piece of crap it actually is.

      Luckily I don’t have a TB303, ’cause they’re obviously crap too…

      1. tb303 year of release: 1981
circuit mono station year of release: 2017
you act as if nothing had changed since 1981. *facepalm*

        1. Shoot, I just noticed that my guitar also does not have a display. Unbelievable, it’s 2018! Might as well just throw it in the river.

        2. Sweet Jesus, I’ve just noticed that the sequencers in my Jd-Xi and Arturia Keystep have no screens either!

Is there no end to this torment?
