New 8-Voice Analog Synth, Kijimi, Coming To Superbooth 2018

Japan-based synth company Black Corporation will be debuting a new 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer at Superbooth 2018, the Kijimi.

Black Corporation previously created Deckard’s Dream, an 8-voice polyphonic synth, inspired by the sound of the Yamaha CS-80. The Kijimi is inspired by the sound of the rare RSF Polykobol.

Details are still to be announced.

  1. Monotimbral and single output. Interesting. If it sounds ‘really’ good won’t be as much of an issue. I wonder if they will be asking $3750 like the deckards dream?

  2. The PolyKobol is SO rare, I can’t think of what kind of tone it has! I know what an Elka Synthex, Matrix-12 or Korg Trident feel like in person, but RSF seemed far more of a European thing. Gimme some sound demos ASAP, please.
