IK Multimedia Uno Synth Design & Architecture

At Superbooth 2018, IK Multimedia introduced the Uno Synth, a $199 portable, monophonic, true analog synthesizer.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the design and architecture of the Uno, with Soundmachines‘ Davide Mancini.

We previously published a Uno Synth hands-on demo, with synthesist and synth designer Erik Norlander & Enrico Dell’Aversana, below.

Pricing and Availability

The Uno Synth is available to pre-order now, priced at US $199/199 Euro.

  1. Interesting to get some technical background on the Uno. Mancini seems like a brilliant guy!

I’m very impressed with the Uno so far. I’d love to see a drum machine in this format next, and maybe a ‘Uno Pro’ with CV support.

  2. the progman is explaining everything like it is a miracle (midi syncd’ lfo’s… wow).. nice synth though.. i mean nicely cheap

    1. Context! Features vs size and budget. If you want to be negative for the sake of being negative then go ahead.
I see someone who is excited about the product and who is proud to be part of it all.
