Moog Subharmonicon Audio Demo From Moogfest 2018

The latest loopop video is an audio demo of the new Moog Subharmonicon, which is a limited-edition Eurorack synth module introduced at Moogfest 2018.

The Subharmonicon is currently only available to Moogfest attendees that sprung for the $1,500+ Engineer VIP ticket. Moog has not made any announcement about their intentions on making this more widely available, but previous Engineer VIP projects, the Werkstatt & the DFAM, eventually made it to the company’s standard product line.

  1. Sorry, but it sounds same all same all…
Love MOOG and and all, but it seems like recycling old other and other again in different form factors

  2. Always good to hear a synth demo by someone that likes beautiful sound.

Anybody can make a synth sound ugly or noisy – but you have to know what you’re doing to make one sound beautiful.

    1. Moog originated the style with the Mother 32. In the last two years, though, a bunch of companies (Behringer, Percussa, Synthesis Technology, etc) have created modules in the same style.
