Playing Virtual Instruments Expressively With MIDI Guitar & Breath Controller

This video, via Andrew Keeping, demonstrates using a MIDI guitar & a breath controller to play virtual instruments expressively.

Here’s what Keeping has to say about it:

This is a demo of the Godin Multiac Concert Grand SA Guitar (in midi mode through a Roland GR55 synth) while using a TEC Breath Controller.

I then use this to play through an Audio Modeling “Soprano Saxophone” using the SWAM engine.

It allows me to play freely with expression, without the need to use key switches for articulations, as the controls are assigned to the breath controller.

In this demo of “Ave Maria”, I show how to assign the MIDI CC controllers to the breath control and SWAM engine.
