Today Arturia announced an update to Spark 2, their software beat creation suite. Spark combines elements of a sequencer, drum machine, sampler, modular synthesizer, and recording studio into a single software drum package.
Spark 2.4 improves the stability of Spark 2, resolves numerous compatibility issues. Arturia says Spark 2.4 has been optimized to work smoothly with “the latest systems and cutting-edge DAWs,” with stable, robust performance.

I don’t know how popular this is but it should be. There is a lot going on here. The modular element is great and plenty deep enough for me to get a lot of use out of this drum machine. having said that there a no new listed features here!

i have the hardware controller but I can’t get it to connect…I can use the software and look forward to the update, but its pretty frustrating.
I had this problem and it turned out to be the USB cable. The cable worked fine with other items so I thought it was something else, but a new $2 USB cable from ebay solved the issue.
I tried three cables..didnt work… last chance i’ll wipe everything and re install…i really do like some of the sounds
I think the synthesis and physical modelling in Spark sounds great but it’s interface is needlessly convoluted.
Did they say if the iOS version that seems to be a bit buggy will also get that update?
I too would be keen to know IOS Version. I hope so as I have the Spark LE controller.
