Free iPad Patch Editor For The IK Multimedia UNO Synth

iPad music making guru Jakob Haq, host of the haQ attaQ, has released a free iPad patch editor for the IK Multimedia UNO synth.

“IK Multimedia did announce that a UNO synth editor will be available for PC and Mac sometime in the near future, notes Haq. “However, IKM hasn’t said anything about an iOS version editor … so I took it upon myself to make one.”

The UNO Synth editor is based on MIDI Designer PRO 2, which is a commercial product available via the App Store. It’s designed to offer access to ‘hidden’ features of the UNO, including a SWING setting for the Sequencer, LFO modulation for Oscillator 1 & 2, fuill ADSR envelopes for both the Amp and Filter, etc.

Here’s a demo of the UNO Synth Editor template in action:

The UNO Synth iPad editor is a free download from the MIDI Designer site.

    1. No, you don’t have to spend that much. New iPads are selling for $329, less if you shop around and don’t forget that they will run 100’s of available music production apps

  1. The title “Free iPad Patch Editor For The IK Multimedia UNO Synth” is misleading.
You need to buy $29.99 MIDI Designer Pro 2 app to use this free editor

    1. Leslie – we trust readers will read beyond the headline:

“The UNO Synth editor is based on MIDI Designer PRO 2, which is a commercial product available via the App Store. “
