Sound On Sound Tape Looping

In his latest video, Hainbach takes a look at sound-on-sound tape looping.

Video Summary:

Sound on Sound Looping means recording over existing sounds without erasing them. A beautiful technique that is as old as magnetic tape. Its easy to implement, even on humble cassette recorders. No soldering or screwdrivers needed, as I show in this video.

  1. I discovered his YT channel not so long ago.
Not only pleasant to watch but it is also an inspiration overdose.

  2. Fun! I like the DIY hacking aspect of this. But I don’t think I have a single working tape deck anywhere in the house, nor any tapes left… Can anybody recommend a good VST?
