Free Binaural VST, Anaglyph, Like ‘3D To Your Ears’

Anaglyph is a high-definition binaural spatialization engine that’s available as a free download for Mac & Windows.

It was created by D. Poirier-Quinot and B. F.G. Katz as part of an ongoing research effort into the perceptual and technical capabilities of binaural rendering. The latest incarnation, Anaglyph VST, has been designed as an audio plugin to both support ongoing research efforts as well as to make the fruits of this research available in existing DAWs.

Anaglyph includes a personalizable morphological ITD model, near-field ILD corrections and HRTF parallax selection, a Localization Enhancer, an Externalization Booster, and SOFA HRIR file support.

  1. THIS IS SO GOOD! It sounds incredible. Unfortunately it’s crashing my mac when I run ableton live. Anyone else tried it and having troubles/success?

  2. Hello,
I tried to load it in Reaper today and it crashed the programme, the ASIO didn’t work anymore… Meaning I had to restart the computer. It seems to be a nice software when it works but if after two years they have not been able to make it work with most DAW, it’s completely useless.

  3. 2020 Oct, works VERY well with Ableton Live 9 & 10. Easily the best “put this there” in stereo plugin I’ve used. Brilliant!
