  1. Dam, I guess the only reason I haven’t looking into the neutron was because the color looks so bad. I saw this and was instantly interested. It even sounds better now too.

    Who woulda thunk it!

  2. That was cool to hear what the different layers sound like. I wonder how many desktop audio enthusiasts have those pentagonal small plant houses? It seems like it’s become the *thing*.

  3. When I first got my Neutron out of the box, I was really impressed with the sound. Yes, I’ve updated my firmware (awful process!) but that really didn’t change its excellent sound.

    A while back, I found “Metastasis” (1955) by Iannis Xenakis, while reading about music theory. I listened to the opening, and I thought, “hmm, familiar….” Then I found “Spaced,” from Beaver and Krause’s album, “In a Wild Sanctuary.” (1970)
