  1. I dont know if this is only me, but taking a digital piano to a Synth event is kinda …waste of time? [mis-placed]

Casio could win their seats back in the synthesizer enviroment, but they need to get out of this hole which they are digging themself into….with Piano and workstation…same story goes for Kawai

  2. I feel like Casio is one of the sleeping giants of synthesis. They did some classic gear in the 80s and 90s, but since then it seems like they have decided that the consumer home keyboard market is their territory.

Are they going to wait for Korg to come out with a volca CZ?

      1. It seems like Korg is doing well with things like the Volca FM and Behringer has created a huge business based on its synth knockoffs.

        1. The retro synth business is already oversaturated. CZ synths can easily be found on the used market. Casio took their synth knowledge and made the XW-P1 and incorporated it into the PX-5S.

          1. Hopefully the successor of PX-5S (already 256-note polyphony) will be a killer synth & digital piano with this newly improved keybed, more controls, and a more advanced synth engine.
