  1. Bye bye, Boutique VP-03. You’ve served me well but this sounds much fatter. I don’t want to devote the space to it but I need it.

  2. For some reason the markup on these Behringer synths in Canada is really high–about 20% more on average than the US MSRP converted to CDN for the VC340, Neutron, and Model D. This isn’t always the case with synths from other companies, like the JDXi, Microbrute, or Sub 37 for example. Regardless of why this is the case, I can’t imagine Canadians will want to pay top dollar for “budget” gear from a company with Behringer’s reputation. I certainly won’t.

    1. Here in Japan it’s the same issue. Most Behringer gear sells for about the same as everywhere else but their synths are marked up significantly.

    2. Hi Mac,

It’s Vik here at Music Tribe, please reach out to our Canadian distribution partner Intellimix at [email protected] they will help you with any questions on pricing.

      Many thanks for reaching out

  3. This sounds excellent – it brings to mind the Vangelis album ‘Antartica’, which must have the VP330 all over it.

I would have liked to see the full keyboard of the original, but Behringer seems to know what they have to do to make these synths viable at a fair price.

  4. I concur.
Quite a good demo indeed (adding counter balance to my comments in the MS-101 thread).
Only disappointment for me here is the lack of the extra octave the original had.
The vocoder and strings sound great.
Possibly a bit of a niche product in some respects but I know of a few friends who’ll love this thing no end.

  5. Weird : the headphone out is mono : behringer “forgot” to mention it anywhere. Apart from that it sounds good and feels sturdier than the usual.
