Moog Spectravox Vocoder & Synthesizer In-Depth Demo

The latest loopop video takes an in-depth look at the new Moog Spectravox synthesizer and vocoder.

The Moog Spectravox is another synth module in the Mother-32 format, which means it can be used as a standalone device, or used as a module within a Eurorack modular synth system.

The Spectravox was this year’s Engineering Workshop project at Moogfest 2019, held in Durham, NC – April 2019. At the event, synthesists have the opportunity to build a new synth design, under the supervision of Moog engineers.

Should Moog release the Spectravox as their next Eurorack format synth? Check out the video and share your thoughts in the comments!

  1. I want one. Moog needs to jump on that. I forsee many possibilities beyond the intended use. This is a monster waiting to happen. This product would be a breath of fresh air for creators and performers. This needs to happen.

  2. Should Moog release the Spectravox as their next Eurorack format synth?

    Yes! Yes they should.

They should also release the Subharmonicon.
