Synth-Werk Intros Model 15 Modular Synthesizer

The Synth-Werk Model 15

Ahead of Superbooth 2019, Synth-Werk – a Muchich-based manufacturer that makes modular synths based on the original Moog modular systems – has introduced its version of the classic Moog Model 15 system.

The Synth-Werk Model 15 modules are based on original Moog designs from the 60s, and are built using the same hand-assembly methods that were used in the Moog Music factory in Trumansburg, NY.

The modules are built by hand-stuffing and hand-soldering components to circuit boards, and using traditional wiring methods. The faceplates are etched as the original Moog modules.

Modules:

SW907A Fixed Filter
SW995 Attenuator
SW904A Voltage Controlled Filter
SW902 Voltage Controlled Amplifier

  1. Oh no! They copied someone! 🙂

Looks beautiful! Wish I could afford it though… have to settle for the iOS app for now.

  2. Here we go agin another clone , everything’s the same except it’s not a Moog , at that price why second guess your self and go for the real thing .

    1. The thing about 5U is not only the size but also the look… Unlike eurorack which sees so many 3rd party manufactures, its a given that most would try to separate their look from Doepfer. So its not so much a clone as keeping to a certain aesthetic
