At Superbooth 2019, Mayer Electronic Music Instruments introduced a new line of polyphonic Eurorack modules.
We talked with designer Horst Mayer, who gave us a sneak preview of the new line of modules.
The Mayer Eurorack system is centered around the M800 Polyphonic Virtual Analog Synthesizer. It’s a multi-timbral synth with four parts. The synth-engine has 12 voices, and each part has a stackable effects section. It offers four independent arpeggiator and step sequencers. It also has a built-in sample player.
The M800 supports a Module Expansion Bus, which lets you connect additional control modules. This gives you a modular way to expand your real-time control of the synth engine.
Mayer expects the modules to be available later this year. See their site for details.
