Korg Module Pro For iOS

Korg has introduced Module Pro for iOS – the latest version of their ‘Module’ line.

The sound browser feature has been remodeled making it easier to find the sound that you desire. The application name for version 3 has also been revised from KORG Module to KORG Module Pro. For those who already have KORG Module, the new version will change to KORG Module Pro, and for those who have KORG Module Le, the app can still be used as KORG Module.

Korg says that the new version makes it even easier to play with professional level sound both in the studio and in live performance.

  1. Yea, and what makes them need to charge another $20 bucks, just to have the features any decent workstation or sound module should have to begin with? The additional sounds certainly are not worth another investment. I think this update should be free as I won’t be buying this ipa.

  2. At least they fixed the voice stealing algorithm, which was completely broken for years (it would steal pedaled bass notes, which was incredibly annoying.)

Sympathetic resonance still doesn’t work properly though.

And there is still only one tuning option.

So close, and yet so far, KORG…..

  3. At least they didn’t screw over the people who paid for Module already – it looks like it is being “upgraded” to Module Pro rather than being downgraded to the free version.
