Kraftwerk have announced plans for a 50th anniversary North America tour.
The synth pop pioneers will bring their 3D show to the US starting in June 2020, starting in Seattle June 19th and ending in Montréal August 1st.
The tour marks the 50th anniversary of Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider founding Kraftwerk in 1970. (The live band includes Hütter, Henning Schmitz, Fritz Hilpert and Falk Grieffenhagen.)

Very happy they’re coming to St. Louis… I assumed I was going to have to make a Chicago trip.
Do they actually play instruments anymore? Or is it just recordings?
And is it still just one original member?
That’s what Kraftwerk is at this point… just Ralf and some touring musicians playing music that is anywhere from 17 to 46 years old, on laptops and iPads.
Kraftwerk has become a Kraftwerk tribute band, kinda.
But I do believe there’s some musical poking of screens, not just playing back recordings.

yup, sadly. lets face it: their compositions are somewhat boring.
Agreed. They successfully built up a distinctive image in the old days when synth was not widely accessible to most people.
My oldest son & I got the chance to see their 3D show here in Hong Kong last year. It was awesome; definitely worth going to see!!!
