Intellijel has introduced Multi-FX 1U, a new module that packs three effects into a tiny 1U module.
Multi-FX 1U provides three delay-based FX in a compact 1U package.
It features three FX modes:
- DELAY – tap/clock syncable, controls for rate/division, tone (feedback low pass filtering), and feedback amount
- CHORUS – controls for modulation rate, tone (brightness) and modulation depth
- PLATE REVERB – controls for pre-delay, tone (brightness), and decay time
The module provides stereo Wet/Dry balance for all three FX modes.

More Intellijel 1U module variety is always appreciated! It’s especially nice to see them bring out a multi-FX unit, even it it does take up between a quarter to a third of the typical Intellijel 1U row.
It might be only me, but I feel that 1U units are not so handy on eurorack. What’s the benefit compared to regular modules?!
I suppose its about portability with the 1u but this is also coming from someone that doesn’t have any 1u but the little Intellijel does look fun.
1U modules are a good way to free up 3U space, especially by providing handy utilities like attenuverters, and audio/midi IO.
