  1. “Ha! Knew it! It’s called ‘No Coast’ just like the synth!”
“No, you’re wroooong! They call it the ‘zero control’”
“Well, actually, the site says ‘oh control’…”

    1. I was at the debut of the 0-coast at Perfect Circuit, and Make Noise/Bana Haffar repeatedly referred to it as No Coast, but then admitted halfway through the demo it could also be zero-coast. -shrug-

    1. huh? the 0-coast is Eurorack sized and so is this. you gotta spend a whole 3, possibly 7 minutes with a screwdriver though.

  2. It seems indecent to be launching products while those not fortunate enough to have foreign arrangements are thrown in jail for conducting honest and ordinary business, attempting to save their businesses from receivership, their homes from eviction.

      1. Yes, the lockdown, in the US, prevents millions from working, under threat of jail. A hair stylist was thrown into jail for violating the lockdown order, this week. The lockdown applies as well to all ordinary work of musicians (such as playing in bars/clubs/venues). Where are you from? In America, the lockdown is common knowledge. I thought all countries were dealing with the disease.

          1. What country are you from? The US and most of the EU is under lockdown. I would be interested in how you avoided the problem in your country.

            1. I live in the US. You have tunnel vision. The lockdown is for all of our safety. If you think you know better, go ahead and get sick, but stay the hell away from the rest of us when you do. Your impatience and willingness to suck in right wing talking points has not lowered the risk of you getting COVID.

        1. Yes, many countries have lockdowns, and here in Europe a great deal of countries have more strict curfew-rules than the US. I’m sorry that your government is all over the place, trying to buy citenzens off with small stimulus checks, and that you have problems with protesters that don’t want to follow health guidelines. Must be hell to live through that chaos.

But I don’t get why an american business like Make Noise are indecent for releasing products. In this crisis it’s all about keeping small business like that alive. They have employees that need income and health insurance too.

Support those who can keep open and lend a helping hand to those who can’t because of health concerns.
That is what “We are all in this together” means. Not “If I can’t work, neither should they”…

          1. Words mean nothing, anymore, they’re the empty suit of corp Internet. A bucket of ice water, an rt, a like, nothing of substance. 0-coast isn’t unique – that’s the disappointment, for all the smash the fash rhetoric of the synthiverse, the core of “all for the bottom line” is now revealed.

They have prohibited homeopathic remedy scams. Now, also, may we be rid of the homeopathy of empty words?

            1. With each post, I’m more and more convinced that you’re right about words meaning nothing anymore.

Sorry Tony Rolando personally offended you by releasing a product. I bet the 0-control infects less people than that woman opening her salon would have. I’m an American who has no problem with lockdown as my family is now not dying of coronavirus.

              1. There are those who would throw a party at a funeral, and take pretense to not knowing the objection. But I prefer it. It shows who’s got decent sense and who thinks alone of themselves. So, if an education in manners is impossible, an indirect one, likely not educational, but just as effective, a shunning, may be elected, and will, by good people. As water cascades over many rocks, we’ll have the worth of many revealed.

    1. Whatever else that was about:

      – According to the Sonicstate interview with Tony Rolando, they had originally been trying to launch this product by February and it’s running late.

      – The people who work for Make Noise, and the stores who sell their products, and their suppliers, need income too.

      – If seeing a product announcement for a piece of electronic music gear *forces* you to spend money when you can’t afford it, I think the problem is with you.

        1. God, your tiny philosophy is not the be-all end-all, and it’s perplexing why you think a hairstylist should be able to work but a job like making modules that can be done safely and remotely should not be able to happen. Non-Americans, please know we are not all this stupid. We’re just trying to survive those of us that are…
