Noise Engineering Intros New Eurorack Reverb, Desmodus Versio

Noise Engineering is now shipping the Desmodus Versio, a true stereo in/stereo out or mono in/stereo out reverb effect.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

“Less of a room simulator and more of a synthetic tail generator with features designed for sound design and performance, the parameters on DV allow you to take the effect from a delay to a beautiful reverb to an uncanny, nightmarish atmosphere in the twist of a few knobs.

Not only is DV a unique reverb, but itโ€™s also a stereo DSP platform. A simple USB connection will allow you to update DV to a variety of future effects firmware. The use of a platform with open-source support also allows you to write your own firmware.”

Pricing and Availability

The Desmodus Versio is available now for $345 USD.

  1. I don’t understand why most eurorack designers assume fx modules to be at the end of chain, there is hardly any reason to us up hp space for these things. Give us th feedback path for crying out loud..

    1. Clouds *has* a (not great) reverb… just an extra perk thrown in with the whole granular engine thing that it is actually good at.

Desmodus Versio *is* a reverb (with, you know, *features*)

      1. Well, I was wrong and the commenters were right.
As I listened, watched and learned this module in action – it is a different creature,
and one of a hell of a creature ๐Ÿ™‚
        I’ll probably get one soon.
