The Chemical Brothers (Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons) have released the music video for their latest single, The Darkness That You Fear.

The Darkness That You Fear is a hopeful piece of music,” says Rowlands,. “When we found the combination of the different voices worked set to the flow of the music it made us feel optimistic, like it was something we wanted to share.”

  1. This is not ChemBr that I know by two first albums.
    Glamour pop, and nothing more.
Going the same way as DaftPunk

    1. The first Chemical Brothers album came out 26 years ago. Do you make the same music you made 26 years ago?

      1. The Chems have been making the same album over and over again for the last 20 years. Thank god I can remember the days when they were original and exciting.

    2. That would be a massive let down if they sounded the same album to album. Artists evolve and experiment with ideas. The brothers know what they are doing. Great music with a lot of positive vibes. Trust the brothers. Brothers gonna work it out.

    1. me too, lot’s of the classic chemical elements and even a “proper” hook melody! it’s been a long time 🙂

  2. Stunning visuals. I feel sympathy for the odd dancers, desperate to make something creative and joyful. Well done.

  3. Old school footage and vibe, a return to a simpler time. Nice job guys.

I would like to kindly ask all the haters to please post a link to a song they have written and produced along with a link to the video made for said song. Since it is so easy to bag on other artists work, I would like to see some backup showing how your work is better then this latest chemical brothers release.
