New AUv3 MIDI Sequencer, SnakeBud, Inspired By Make Noise René

Developer Cem Olcay let us know that they’ve released a new AUv3 MIDI Sequencer app, SnakeBud, that’s inspired by the Make Noise René Eurorack sequencer module.

SnakeBud is a 16-step sequencer that lets you traverse the steps in many ways – not just moving from step 1 to step 16 sequentially, but also via ‘snake’ patterns through the grid.

‘Probability and randomization features give you additional tools for creative sequencing.

  1. No video demo? Surely that’s a minimum when launching a new product, it’s not exactly wizard to do compared to developing the software!!

      1. Personally, when I launched my iOS apps, I always made a video demo, even in the days before Apple supported video demos on the AppStore. Really basic stuff.

  2. It seems like some developers are leaving it to some YouTube demo’ers to do their work. I don’t know if the YT “personalities” get any other compensation besides a free copy and fodder for their channel.
