  1. I would love to see Ralf reunite with Karl and Wolfgang after all these years. And maybe some new tunes? I had front row seats at the canceled 2020 Radio City Music Hall concert, at least I got a refund.

  2. I appreciate the band for their quirky yet important place in e-music history. I don’t mind them doing a T-Dream thing with new members, as the name is bigger than the band, in nostalgic marketing terms. Its okay to still play while you can. Even the recent Genesis tour was worthwhile.

I don’t think girls throw their underwear onstage at Kraftwerk shows like they did for The Stones and these days, those older fans are all in adult diapers anyway. Yeah, Keith Richards would love a wet Depends in the face during “Satisfaction.” :O

  3. Its an art experience rather than just a concert. The concept has reach its final state (rather than conclusion). Not quite what I want.

    1. I definitely get where you’re coming from, AmpX, but to me, Kraftwerk has always been as much about art/concept as the music. A friend tells me that concept was always MORE than the music when it came to them. He may be right……but man, what a catalog. Even if time and personal differences provided varying lineups over the years until now, I am SO gonna be there in Boston come June!

My pocket calculator is charged and ready to go! 🙂

    2. Reminds me of the Blue Man Group. It could be anyone up on stage in that makeup. In fact, they could be playing multiple venues at the same time, and no one would know the difference.

  4. Throwing panties at a Kraftwerk show, now that’s super funny thought.

New for the 2022 tour people can throw virtual panties and underwear with stain control. You can see it on the big video screens so download the app. Artificial intelligence panties and underwear throwing is the future.
Welcome to the new virtual reality!

Kraftwerk has never been that girl panties band more like a dirty sweaters, computer chips, glasses or pocket calculators, How sexy

They’re performing with Ableton Live as their sequencer, so they’re remixing & arranging the songs live, controlling the visuals live, and adding vocals and lead lines.

So it’s not ‘live’ in the sense that you’ve got a drummer and a guitarist on stage, but they’re not checking their email either. Their performance rigs have been dissected and discussed elsewhere.

Having seen a couple of their shows in the last 5 years, they seem to change things up from show to show. They play a different set list at each show, the 3D visuals are customized at each show and the song arrangements change from show to show. I recall ‘Autobahn’ been fairly short at one show – almost like the single version – and then album length at another show.
