This series, via Music With Synthesizers, takes an in-depth look at the Moog Subharmonicon synthesizer Eurorack analog percussion synthesizer.
The Subharmonicon is a unique all-in-one semi-modular design in Moog’s Mother-32 Eurorack format. It offers a unique approach to synthesis and sequencing, using subharmonics to build sound and generate polyrhythmic patterns.
Video Summary:
“This video series is designed to give a thorough overview of the Moog Subharmonicon. The Subharmonicon can be very difficult to get the hang of. This series breaks down the complexities of the Subharmonicon into small and manageable chunks.
By the end of the series, you’ll have a strong understanding of each part and how it contributes to the overall sound as well as how it interacts with the other parts.
Additionally, the videos will cover how to use the patchbay and give helpful pairing tips so you can build your own Subharmonicon patches.”

it’s one wacky synthything. I love mine.
As I contemplate selling more of my hardware I will never sell this.
Hardware audio sonic fun.
agreed. I have a whole studio of ‘preset polys’, that would go first. I’ll keep the rack stuff though 19 inch is hard to come by anymore and it’s space efficient.
this is the only moog product that i am really seriously interested in
I sold both my E-mu SP-1200’s and bought this, awesome synth
