Vintage Synth Review: The Moog Minimoog Synthesizer

In his latest synthesizer mini documentary, Alex Ball shares his take on the classic Moog Minimoog synthesizer, originally introduced in 1970 and produced in its original run until 1981.

Ball shares a brief history and discusses why it’s arguably the most important synth ever made.

He reviews the iconic sound of the Minimoog and shares a wide range of audio demos. He also talks about the history of the various versions of the original run.

More than 55 years later, the Minimoog is still one of the most desired synths ever made, and as relevant as ever.
