Synthesist Jack Hertz let us know about his latest release, Astral Sound Matrix, and shared a big batch of free download codes for Synthtopia readers.

Astral Sound Matrix is an album of cinematic electronic music and is a showcase of the sonic possibilities of the Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth synthesizer.

Here’s what Hertz has to say about the new album:

“Jack Hertz returns to the Matrix with another deep dive into the fantastic Modulation model that began in 1986 with the Oberheim Xpander. Here we take a ride on the latest hardware synths to carry on the Matrix Modulation concepts in the Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth. Immerse yourself in waves of space music from beyond with these new compositions created exclusively with the ASM Hydrasynth synthesizer.”

You can preview Astral Sound Matrix below or at his Bandcamp page.

Here are 100 free codes that Hertz shared for Synthtopia readers. You can redeem the codes at Bandcamp.

We divided the codes into 10 batches, and ask that readers start with the first batch, leave a comment when the codes in that batch are used up, and then start with the next batch. Thanks!
